BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few useful
answers.

Setup & availability ↗
What kinds of businesses is MyDukaan designed for?

Inventory-based teams that need to connect stock, customer orders, purchasing and balances. Wholesale, distribution, independent retail and food suppliers are useful starting points. Check your product units and operating needs against the setup and availability guide.

How do we get set up?

Review the product tour and your inventory workflow first. Businesses are set up by a MyDukaan operator; staff join using an invitation code from their owner. Creating a staff account does not create a business or start a trial.

Can I give staff different access?

Yes. Owners assign one of four fixed roles: Owner, Manager, Packer or Delivery. Roles have defined responsibilities; permissions are not individually customizable. Team size depends on the business’s configured seat limit.

Can we track both bulk stock and packed products?

Yes. Bulk materials and packed products have separate balances. Record packing runs when bulk becomes packets, and dispatch orders when goods leave. Products can use weight, volume or pieces.

Does MyDukaan collect payments?

MyDukaan records payments your business has received; it does not move money or provide checkout. The current product records Cash and UPI. See customer accounts for how payments and balances connect.

Can I use it outside India?

Review the current fit carefully. The product uses INR, Indian business dates and Cash/UPI payment records. It does not offer multi-currency transactions or country-specific tax compliance. Check international availability and subscription details before committing.

Which platforms can our team use?

The staff web application is available through the browser sign-in. An Android client is implemented; arrange access with your business owner. An internet connection is required. No public iOS or app-store availability is promised.
